The Animal Control Officer (ACO), Kaitlin Dore, and her assistants (Maddy LeCoq and Michaela Benefit, respond to reports of stray animals, issue citations and fines for violations of state and local laws related to the care and control of animals, investigate complaints from the public regarding barking dogs, dog bites, and aggressive dogs, respond to reports of injured domestic animals, and assist other agencies with rescuing, removing, or controlling animals in emergency situations.
