The Edgartown Police Department's command staff includes four Patrol Sergeants.  Each Sergeant works directly under the supervision of the Lieutenant.

Patrol Sergeants are in charge of supervising the Patrol Officers in their every day policing activities ensuring best practices, and department policy and procedures are followed.
